This week DiliTrust were proud to attend the annual Governance Professionals of Canada conference which marked their 20th year influencing the changing corporate governance landscape in Canada. This year’s conference was themed “The Governance Professional…20 Years On” and the three-day conference featured expert panels, workshops, breakout sessions as well as key note speakers who facilitated dialogue about the continued development of corporate governance. It took place in the picturesque setting of Victoria, British Columbia.
The annual Governance Professionals of Canada conference brings together experts and practitioners to provide an analysis about the role of the governance professional in 2018 as well as navigating trends and best practice in corporate governance. The event brought together governance professionals from all over Canada and further afield who were able to share their insights and network with key players in the industry. DiliTrust was a proud sponsor at the conference and the DiliTrust team were on hand at booth #1 to talk to attendees about DiliTrust Exec, our software solution for corporate governance professionals. The DiliTrust team facilitated demonstrations of the product and illustrated the features of the software to attendees.
Key note speaker highlights included Tan van Biesen, Executive Director of Catalyst Canada who opened the conference addressing ‘Gender Diversity in Canada’s Organizations’ and Richard Wilson, a CISSP partner at PwC, who addressed attendees about cyber security in his speech, ‘How do Boards and Management Create a Cyber Resilient Organization?’.
